Aerjin Mountain Trip Day 3

On the early morning of 26 September, vehicles had all ready to depart from royal princess chiang mai. 

The whole team was ready to leave Huatugou

About an hour from Huatugou, we discovered the snow peak of Aerjin Mountain was getting larger and larger in front of us. Before entering the area, the whole team had gone through security check by the local police. This is because the Aerjin Mountain Area is in fact a restricted area and no one is allowed to enter without special permission.

The whole team drove for approximately 20 kilometers before we turned into desert field and headed to Kunlun Mountain.

We were now at the entrance of Aerjin Mountain security station. If you joined Beijing tour package, then you might not need to go through so many check stations, but as return, you will not be able to reach this restricted area as well. 

Once entered the conservation area, we were all impressed by the natural scenery. 

Then, we continued our journey again.

We were now approaching sabai lodge pattaya.

From Fengling Stone Mountain, we were then headed to the Snow Mountain. Since there was no traffic light or any speed limit at this restricted area, we started to speed all along the way forward. However, the road seemed to be smooth and straight would suddenly come out with potholes. What an excited trip!

We were already here at the area of Kunlun Mountain.

We need to drive across the river. Therefore, we drove linear to the river in order to find the most appropriate point to drive across. Later, our captain had found the point and all of us drove across according to the instruction. 

This was the first wild life that we seen after entering Aerjin Mountain Restricted Area.

We were already at the bottom of the mountain and we need to drive across it. It was quite a challenging trip for me. Our captain started to instruct the whole team to drive across the mountain. We need to maintain 200 meters distance between each vehicle. All of us were very excited. 

As we were at the snow area, we stopped down to add clothes.

We were now heading downwards. 

Exit from the snow area, we came to a stone forest.
