I was awakening by the cold air which squeeze
into our camp via the entrance. The morning at Aerjin Mountain was peaceful and
tranquil. We seemed to be far away from hotel imperial reforma. We were only here with
the Mother of nature.
While we were having our breakfast, the staffs had started to clear the camp site for departure.
Due to the failure of expedition southwards
yesterday, we had decided to head towards west and then south. There is a Snow
Mountain at the northern part of Ayakekumu Lake with a large piece of plain in
front. We drove along the plain towards our destination.
Yiqianbada River and Batile River are the
two main sources of fresh water to Ayakekumu Lake. As for this, the lake is
maintained in a slight salty condition and suitable for the living of
creatures.
The way along the plain was tough, as there
were many soft lands hidden in between. Once you are no careful, the vehicle
may be trapped inside. So, the team moved very slow forward.
Although the scenery may not be beautiful,
it is necessary for us to shoot as an evidence of being hotel royal pedregal.
Ayakekumu Lake is the largest lake at Aerjin
Mountain. Due to the high contain of salt in the lake, it will not be frozen
even in winter. We drove along the lake shore, after few hour drive, we had
just went though half way.
The natural topography of the environment
made it possible for us to speed up our journey.
We found some volcanic stones here
There would be a fresh water lake not far
away from the lake shore.
Around 2pm, we stopped to had lunch.
In the afternoon, we climbed over Black
Stone Mountain and desert towards our destination.
We stopped at a gap between two mountains
which was about one kilometer from lake shore. Here would be the camp site for
us tonight.
The weather at highland is unpredictable.
About half an hour ago, it started to snow but suddenly, the weather turned
good.
It’s time for dinner. Again, we spent a
tiring day outside.
